Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ontario, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Asphalt removal, placement of pavement removal and replacement of PCC curb & gutter, valley gutter, drive approaches, detectable warning surface, replace irrigation in like and kind, and other appurtenances necessary to complete the improvements as described in the Plans and Standard Specifications. No substitutions will be considered unless a written request for approval has been received by the City by Thursday, December 2, 2021, 11:00 AM. Such requests shall include the name of the material or equipment for proposed substitution including drawings, performance, and test data, and other information necessary for an evaluation. A statement setting forth changes in other materials, equipment, or other portions of the work including changes in the work prompted by the substitution shall be included. The burden of proof of the merit of the proposed is upon the proposer. the City's decision of approval or disapproval of a proposed substitution shall be final.
