The City of Ontario purchased land located at 1333 South Bon View Avenue in Ontario, CA. The site was investigated by California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and was certified with a land use covenant due to contamination left in place. Land Use Covenant (LUC) inspections are conducted annually to ensure that the contamination under the cap is not disturbed. The selected vendor will conduct a site visit with agency staff. Deliverables from the site visit will include a completed compliance checklist based on observation, input from staff, and photos of the Interior/exterior building and site. Emphasis will be on the regulated locations of the site. The vendor shall complete a draft report of findings and incorporate one set of agency comments. The vendor will provide a final report that is stamped and signed by a licensed Civil Engineer pursuant to ASTM E15270-13, following one round of revisions. The final document will be delivered to the Ontario Municipal Utilities Company (OMUC) and the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) by the vendor. The following is a summary of the tasks and deliverables that will be completed by the vendor: 1. Annual Site Visit with Staff which includes a walk-over inspection, checklist and site photos. 2. Draft Report to OMUC documenting existing conditions of the concrete/asphalt and building slabs and any changes to DTSC restricted areas related to disturbed contaminated soils. 3. Final Report to DTSC and OMUC - Incorporating agency comments and corrections. The City reserves the right to award its total requirements to one bidder, or to apportion those requirements among several Bidders as the City may deem to be in its best interests.
