Great Plains Structures was awarded the contract on May 10, 2021 for $1,789,000.00 . Notice to Proceed will be issued on June 14, 2021. The Project consists of 1) Remove and salvage 9,992 SY of PCC Pavement, as well as 1,899 SY of concrete sidewalk. Other removal item include existing street signs, light poles, and underground utilities; 2) Furnish and install approximately 913 LF of 8" PVC water main with 25 services and 926 LF of 8" PVC sewer main with 31 services and associated appurtenances; 3) Perform grading and install gravel cushion material for PCC paving installation; 4) Install PCC pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalk as shown in the Contract Drawings, and; 5) Perform associated functions such as erosion control, traffic control, seeding, and coordination of new light pole installation.
