*As of 03/20/2024, all bids have been rejected. A timeline for rebid has not been established yet.* The Avon School District is accepting sealed bids for its Locker Room Remodel Project. Questions about the project should be directed to Gregg Voigt, Head of Maintenance, at 605-286-3291 ext. 165. The Avon School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Anticipated Award Date: March 22, 2024 The Avon School District will make full payment to the successful Bidder no later than 30 days from when the work is satisfactorily completed and accepted by the Avon School District This project is to provide the Avon School District with a complete remodel of existing locker rooms. The contractor is responsible for the following: 1. Contractor must obtain all required Permits. 2. Follow all applicable O.S.H.A. and N.I.O.S.H. standards while performing work. 3. Contractor will notify Owner prior to working on site. 4. Contractor will need to follow all the city, state, and national codes and regulations pertinent to the project. 5. Project will include several aspects including demolition, reconstruction, plumbing, electrical, and flooring as listed below: - Demolition: 1. Demolition of block walls, tiled walls, and concrete flooring for plumbing purposes. 2. Removal of aggregate materials as necessary for in floor plumbing purposes. 3. Removal of demolition material/debris. (School District will provide locations for debris, but the contractor is responsible for getting materials to designated locations) 4. Reconstruction 5. Provide and install fill aggregate materials as necessary for filling floor plumbing trenches. 6. Provide and repour concrete flooring as necessary for plumbing. 7. Provide and install new 2”x6” walls where needed. 8. Provide and install ½” MMR drywall, along with a plywood backer installed behind all drywall. 9. Provide and install ceramic tiling along walls with bathroom fixtures
