Furnish labor, materials and services necessary to provide grass cutting/landscaping services for the Parklawn Development, as follows: Parklawn Development - Manager, Marquetta Treadway, Management Office located at 4434 W. Marion Street, Milwaukee, WI 53216, (414) 286-8865. All Empolyees working at the development from your company must check in at the development office before and after work is performed. Attend a monthly detailed check-in with Manager. Grass cutting to be done at all townhomes, commercial buildings and common areas, to include common area east of Management Office/inside fence of Cyber School, and around raised garden beds. Before each cutting, remove all trash/debris, such as cans, bottles, and paper, from areas to be serviced, including walkways, borders, etc., which may be extensive. Islands within parking areas will be maintained by Parklawn Maintenance Staff. Clean, clear and/or cut/trim flower beds once per month. Trim hedges once per month, including hedges in front and in back of the units. Always remove debris resulting from work, at the end of each day and dispose of properly. Contractor shall cut grass every 2 weeks, unless instructed otherwise by a Manager, due to the growing season or weather. Services must be completed within five (5) business days Liquidated damages in the amount of $50.00 may be assessed for each day of delay. Grass should be maintained at a height not to exceed 3", but not less than 1". After each grass cutting, line trim around walkways, fence line, trees, poles, buildings, etc., and remove clippings from all walkways. Remove all growth from in and around fences. No fertilizer or weed and feed should be dispensed on lawn. Upon completion of work, the contractor shall remove all equipment and unused materials, from premises and leave the property in a neat and clean condition. Contractor shall take all steps necessary to protect all property and persons from any damage or injury resulting from this work. Contractor shall employ sufficient, qualified and competent personnel to perform work promptly. Contractor must have sufficient power equipment to provide services Contractor to submit invoices once per month to the development. All invoices must show dates when work was performed in order for invoices to be processed in a timely manner. Total cost to include insurance, overhead, supplies, disposal and gas fees, profit, etc. Contractor shall not proceed with work until directed to do so by the Housing Authority or its agent. You are required to pay your employees per the Maintenance Wage Rate Recommendation/Form 4750, effective January 1, 2021. Maintenance Assistant $15.13/hr. plus $6.80 fringes, total $21.93/hr. You will be required to submit your payrolls electronically via LCPtrackerTM before payment will be processed (see attached Certified Payroll Electronic Submission). This contract will be effective March/April, 2021 through October/November, 2021, with the option to extend for four additional one-year term(s) upon mutual consent of both parties. The Housing Authority reserves the right to: reject any and all quotations; waive informalities, technical defects, and minor irregularities; accept the quotation (if any) deemed most advantageous to and in the best interests of the Housing Authority. Award will be based on price, contractor's availability to provide the specified services when required, and contractor's expertise and past performance . The Purchasing Division may determine the award of a tie bid using a method of chance. Tie bids are defined as all things being equal, such as price, quality, services, etc.
