The City of Dover, New Hampshire is seeking qualified vendors to provide a proposal cost for improvements to a portion of the Dover Teen Center, located on the ground level of the McConnell Center, using the 30 St. Thomas Street entrance, in Dover NH, for purposes of constructing a kitchen facility. All equipment and appliances, as noted under Project Requirements, have been, or will be, purchased by the City, with the exception of two items, and are not part of this Request for Proposal. Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and, in order to be considered, must be received by the Purchasing Agent (l.simmons@dover.nh.gov) no later than seven (7) calendar days before the Request for Proposals due date and time. Any changes to the Request for Proposals will be provided to all Proposers of record. The City of Dover reserves the right to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the proposals submitted and the right to reject any or all proposals at its discretion and to accept the proposal which will be in the best interest of the City; or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the City to do so The task shall be completed no later than September 1, 2021. Work to begin upon award and issuance of building permit. Federal Labor Standards and Davis Bacon Wages apply to this project. Describe in narrative form the vendor's approach and technical plan for accomplishing the work listed herein. Submit a schedule for completing the scope of work outlining the anticipated time frames and durations for the various services specified in the project approach. Bonds Required for Projects over $35,000.00 Bid Price Bonds at minimum 10% of bid price must accompany the bid. A Performance Bond at 100% of contract price and a labor/materials bond at 100% of the contract price will be required of vendor awarded the contract.
