Job No: 92042.105 The Town of Lake Clarke Shores will be receiving sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the Pine Tree Lane Bridge Replacement Project in Lake Clarke Shores. This project will remove the current 2-lane approximately 40-foot-long bridge and replace it with a new 2-lane approximately 40-foot-long bridge as shown on the engineering plans designed by John Hoffman, Jr., Engenuity Group, and Alan Gerwig & Associates. Additional elements of this project include, but are not limited to, temporarily replacing an 8 water main, making improvements to the entry way for Pine Tree Park, replacing curbing, and coordination with FPL, Comcast and AT&T. Additional coordination with utility companies may be required. Proper care and caution will be critical throughout the construction process as this area has underground utilities such as fiber optics and a water main that runs the length of this project and serves residential customers. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security. The amount of the security shall not be less than five (5) percent of the Bidders total price indicated in the Bid form. Public Construction Bond will be required after execution of the Contract with the selected proposer. The Town of Lake Clarke Shores reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, and to re-advertise. The award, if made, will be to the lowest responsive, responsible Proposer as determined solely by the Town.
