Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to the City of Nome,Texas; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas,in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bids must be submitted on the form shown in the Contract Documents. A Contractor Qualification Statement must also accompany each bid. The City of Nome,Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding and to award the project based on the best bid which best represents the interests of the City of Nome,Texas.
