The Project consists of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to provide HVAC upgrades at the District's Main Office in the Technology Network Operations Center. HVAC upgrades for the TIS Network Operations Center. The Contract Time is sixty (60) consecutive calendar days to complete all scope at the school site(s). Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code and be licensed to perform the work called for in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active 'B' License at the time of bid and throughout the duration of this Contract. The Contractor's California State License number shall be clearly stated on the bidder's proposal. Bidder and subcontractors are required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. The Bidder's registration must remain active throughout the term of the Contract. Subcontractors shall be licensed pursuant to California law for the trades necessary to perform the Work called for in the Contract Documents Request for Information and Substitutions: Pre-Bid Clarifications (RFI's) and Request for Substitutions regarding this Invitation for Bid must be received in writing to Elizabeth Roman at bids@ausd.us by 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 15 th , 2021. Responses will be issued by 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 21 st , 2021 via email and/or website posting. Bidder is required to certify that it either meets the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise ("DVBE") goal of three percent (3%) participation or made a good faith effort to solicit DVBE participation while bidding this project. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening.
