The City of Alhambra, Public Works Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management, construction inspection, and materials testing services for the Poplar Blvd Street Rehabilitation Project, Federal Project No. STPL-5130(024). The project involves asphalt coldmill and overlay and related improvements. The selected consultant is required to manage the project in compliance with the Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual and act as an extension of City staff, being responsible for all necessary services during construction to efficiently complete the project in compliance with the plans and specifications. The consultant shall report to the designated City Project Manager. The total construction duration is 60 working days and the total construction budget is approximately $700,000. The scope of services to be provided by the selected consultant includes all necessary services during the pre-construction phase and throughout construction to manage the project efficiently, including construction management, construction inspection, and materials testing services.
