The Sharp County Regional Airport (CVK) Authority will receive sealed bids on a General Contract to construct approximately 1,400 linear feet of 35-ft wide concrete parallel taxiway. Project no: 19-5837 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). As defined by Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26, Regulations of the Office of the Secretary of Transportation, all bidders shall make good faith efforts, to subcontract a minimum of nine and forty-five hundredths percent (9.45%) of the dollar value of the prime contract to small and disadvantaged business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (DBE). The successful Bidder will be required to submit a Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities prior to award of the contract, and to notify prospective subcontractors of the requirement for such a Certification where the amount of the subcontract exceeds $10,000. The Owner reserves the right to reject bids and waive formalities. Bidder must have a current general license from the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board before the bid proposal will be considered. The bid proposal and work of the proposed contract shall be in accordance with all applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, ordinances and regulations. Work will be completed within 90 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
