INVITATION TO BID No. 2021-07-PW CONTRACT FOR THE RESURFACE AND REPAIR OF THE MADDOCK PARK BASKETBALL COURT AND THE RECREATION CENTER TENNIS COURT The Town of Lantana is accepting Bids for a Contract for the Resurface and Repair of the Maddock Park Basketball Court and two of the Recreation Center Tennis Courts. Bid specifications may be obtained online at www. lantana.org under RFP/BIDS. Sealed Bids must be clearly marked "Invitation to Bid for a Contract for the Resurface and Repair of the Maddock Park Basketball Court and a Recreation Center Tennis Court" and will be accepted until 2:00 P.M. E.S.T. on May 6, 2021 at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Town of Lantana Council Chambers, 500 Greynolds Circle, Lantana, Florida. Description of work includes the following: Resurfacing and repair of the Maddock Park Basketball Court located at 1200 W. Drew St. Lantana FL 33462 and tow of the Town's Recreation Center Tennis Courts located at 418 S. Dixie Hwy, Lantana FL 33462. The contractor will furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and all other necessary incidentals required for resurface and repair the courts. The courts WILL NOT be used/occupied during the resurfacing and repair. The contractor is responsible for completing all work in compliance with the building code and for completing the resurfacing and repairs as set forth in the general scope of work. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all pages are included. Therefore, all Bidders are advised to thoroughly examine this package. Only one contract will be awarded for the work outlined and described in the plans and specifications. The Town of Lantana is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property. Further instructions and conditions are stated in the bidding documents. The Town reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and waive technicalities and/or any irregularities therein. The Town further reserves the right to award a contract to the bidder whose proposal best serves the interests of the Town in the sole discretion of the Town.
