Site work for a water / sewer project in Lynden, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District is requesting bids for the Lynden Levee Channel Realignment Project. This project provides a new conveyance channel west of the Lynden Waste Water Treatment Plant in Lynden, Washington. The project will reroute a narrow and eroding channel with a larger, fish friendly channel that is away from the city pond, reroute a swale channel and connect it with the larger channel prior to both channels being routed together in a new culvert under the levee (culvert work is separate from this project), and other work, as further described in the bid documents. Award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities. Whatcom County encourages disadvantaged, minority and women owned firms to respond.
