Renovation of a mixed-use development in Morgantown, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Contractor shall provide a complete, workable, and operational system including all labor, equipment, tools, material, engineering, supervision, licenses, insurance, permits and bonds to engineer, manufacture and install a fully integrated and operational LED Video Display for the West Virginia University, including all noted peripheral elements highlighted by the following sections: A. 6 MM LED Video Display B. LED Front End system C. Audio System The successful Bidder and all subcontractors must pay the West Virginia Department of Labor Wage Rates as established for the County in which the Work is being performed, pursuant to West Virginia Code 21-5-1, et seq. in effect at the time of bid opening (currently there is no prevailing wage in effect). Liquidated Damages shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion. CUTOFF QUESTIONS FRIDAY, APRIL 23, 2021 12:00 PM EST. CONTRACT AWARD FRIDAY, MAY 21, 2021 4:00 PM A. The following outlines the turnkey delivery and installation responsibilities that define the project scope of work. Any and all work outlined in this section is the responsibility of the Contractor unless otherwise noted. Contractor is required to provide all labor, materials, tools, supervision and equipment to perform the following: 1. Install dedicated network for audio/DSP/control. 2. Install HP rack mounted PC and Middle Atlantic rack mounted display and keyboard in PA Booth rack. 3. Install loudspeakers and complimenting amplifiers. 4. Contractor shall be responsible for assembly, secondary modifications and mounting of all audio components onto new structure in the south end zone provided by others. 5. Provide and install all equipment listed in Part 2 - Products, including any and all equipment not specifically listed but part of this RFP that is required to provide a completely functional system. 6. Provide redundant analog backup for bowl audio system. 7. Provide required signal and data cable. Connect all equipment with power, signal and control wiring from electrical outlets currently existing or to be provided. 8. Coordinate with Owner regarding placement of new equipment rack(s) if necessary and placement of electrical components. 9. Coordinate with Owner regarding functionality expected with audio DSP system and provide programming with the necessary Graphical User Interfaces(s) (GUI). 10. Deliver DSP GUIs for review before completion of Installation Phase of the project. Owner will review and sign off on functionality. 11. Provide all required permits and licenses. 12. Provide on-site installation supervisor per Section 1.8.E. 13. Coordinate work with other trades and coordinate scheduling with the construction supervisor to minimize delays. 14. Deliver all Equipment to site and convey to appropriate locations within site as directed by Owner
