This project was awarded to Strider Construction in the amount of $561,930. Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District is requesting bids for the Abbott Levee Habitat Improvement Project, Project No. 718010. This project will provide both habitat improvements and bank protection to an eroding section of the Nooksack River's left bank, and other work, as further described in the bid documents. The project is located approximately halfway between Lynden and Everson, Washington, approximately 0.25 miles west of the Abbott and Noon Road intersection. Award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities. Whatcom County encourages disadvantaged, minority and women owned firms to respond.
