Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Niagara, Wisconsin. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of December 30, 2021. The project has been cancelled and no information for rebidding at this time. The work, in general, will include the approximate quantities and items listed below: 15,500 SF - Concrete Sidewalk/Driveways, 100 LF - Concrete Curb and Gutter, 3,700 SY - Pulverize and Relay Existing Asphalt, 4,800 SY - Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement, 1,000 CY - Common Excavation, 850 CY - Crushed Aggregate Base Course, Landscape Restoration, and Traffic Control. The project is funded in part with a federal Community Development Block Grant. Federal Davis-Bacon Act wage rates are applicable to this project per Federal Labor Provisions (4010). Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to condition of employment to be observed and minimum wage and fringe rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. We encourage MBEs, DBEs, and WBEs to submit bid proposals. The solicitation of subcontractors must evidence a good faith effort to obtain bids from MBEs, DBEs and WBEs, such efforts to be documented.
