Renovation of a power facility in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
Provide labor, materials and equipment to repair primary splices in feeder 7N from North Substation to Switch Station 37. This will involve approximately 40 manholes with 3 splices per manhole for total of 120 splices at approximately 30,000 linear feet (LF). Repair cables to include 20,000 LF three phase, 350kcmil, single conductor, 15 KV concentric neutral Ethylene Propylene Rubber. The contractor to provide all labor, material and equipment and use approved cold shrink splices only. The work will include adding 10 sectionalizer cabinets placed along the feeder to allow for troubleshooting. Magnitude of Construction: IAW FAR 36.204: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
