Demolition and site work for a financial development in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a financial development; and for site work for a financial development.
Requests for clarification are due Monday, May 3, 2021 12:00:00 PM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)]. The County of Monroe will accept sealed bids online for the demolition and lawful disposal of an existing framed structure and its contents located at 43 N. 6th Street (formerly PNC Bank) in Stroudsburg Borough. The work will include building demolition, removal and lawful disposal of building contents & demolition debris, crushing existing masonry floor and foundation walls, backfill of open areas with crushed stone, finish grading to existing grades, and restoration of the area. All Bidders must submit bid security in the amount of 10%. It is expected that the bid will be awarded by Friday, May 7, 2021, and work will commence on or before Monday, May 10, 2021. It is also expected that the award will be made to the qualified, responsible contractor or Bidder submitting the lowest base bid as determined to be in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to award the project to any Bidder and/or to accept or reject any and all bids (or portions thereof) in the best interest of the County. The project shall be substantially complete by Friday, May 21, 2021, and final completion shall be no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021.
