Requests for clarification are due Tuesday, May 18, 2021 12:00:00 PMThe project for which Bids are being solicited is subject to the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Each Bid must be accompanied by bid security payable to Lower Nazareth Township in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Article 5 of the General Conditions. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to accept any Bid which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Owner. No Bid will be accepted if obtained from sources other than the issuing office noted above. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Demolition of an approximately 15,820 SF commercial building. A portion of the building is 2.5 stories tall with a full basement and in close proximity to overhead wire utilities and two (2) state highways along SR 191 (Nazareth Pike) and SR 3020 (Newburg Rd). Other portions of the building are single story with attic and single story with flat roof that have either crawl space or slab on grade Other work includes demolition and removal of various site features, brush, waste, and debris.
