As of June 16, 2021, This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The scope of work consists of, but not limited to, the following tasks for reconstructing approximately 19,230 LF of roads within Harris County Precinct 3. 1. Mill and overlay with local base repair of South Barker Cypress Rd (approx. 4,400 LF), and reconstruction of Barker-Clodine Rd (approx. 4,400 LF) and Longenbaugh Rd (approx. 5,300 LF). 2. For base repair, apply local base repair and then mill and overlay the entire road surface. 3. For reconstruction, remove and dispose of existing asphaltic surface and base material. Stabilize subgrade, apply HMAC base course and surface course as shown on plans. 4. Mill off 1-2 inches asphalt surfaces at transitions, intersections, bridges, and driveways. 5. Apply HMAC Type "D" Surface Course for feathering driveways and Intersections 1-2 inches thick. 6. Place reflectorized Pavement Markings, Type I, along with other related pavement markings, where existing pavement markings are overlaid with new asphalt. 7. Provide adequate traffic control detour during all phases of construction 8. Implementation of storm water pollution prevention (SWPPP) measures. 9. Cleanup and site restoration.
