Site work and paving for a civil project in Upper Mahanoy Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.

Each bid must be accompanied by Cash, a Certified Good Faith Check, by a Cashier's Check drawn upon a bank authorized to do business in this Commonwealth, or a Bid Bond with corporate surety payable to the Owner for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. As soon as the Bid prices have been compared, the Owner will return the Bonds of all except the three lowest responsible bidders. When the Agreement is executed, the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned. The material and workmanship shall be in accordance with Standard Specifications of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Publication 408/2017 and all supplements thereto. All Contractors must be PENNDOT prequalified to perform this type of work. Serial Number: 21-02937 If designated as the successful bidder, the contractor will begin work on the date specified in the official notice to proceed, or as otherwise provided in the special requirements, and will complete all work as listed in the Contract Special Provisions by October 15, 2021. If work is not completed on time, liquidated damages will be assessed at the rate of $885.00 per each additional calendar day. The anticipated noticed to proceed is June 21, 2021. The required completion date is October 15, 2021. There are not any DBE goals for this project
