Steelton Borough (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Steelton Borough - CDBG Grant 101 Locust Street Retaining Wall Repair The Project includes the following Work: This project involves the repair and rehabilitation of a stone masonry wall. This will include clearing and grubbing, cleaning of the wall, stone masonry repairs, repointing, and a concrete cap. There is also work included to repair undermining of a section of the wall. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a Performance Bond for 100% of the Contract Bid price as required by the Contract Documents. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted via portal. Telephone inquiries are unacceptable. The estimated cost for this project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Davis Bacon Wage Act shall apply. Steelton Borough reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of Steelton Borough and to reject any or all proposals.
