The Department of Veterans Affairs, Memphis Veterans Affairs Medical Center, is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for project: 614-20-115 - COVID-19 Emergency Generator. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work to install emergency generators to provide backup power to the equipment that maintain HVAC services supporting the COVID-19 patient care isolation units, Ward 4E and Ward 5E, in Building 1A at the Memphis VA medical center in Memphis, TN. This work includes new generators, generator building, controls, equipment, and modification to the current electrical power distribution system. Work requires coordination with occupied operations in space alongside, above, and below the affected isolation units, to modify and/or install new engineering systems.
