Per the owner, as of November 16, 2022, an award has been made for this solicitation. The owner states that construction is not anticipated to begin until late summer 2023 at the earliest. This Request for Proposals (RFP) solicits consultants to provide professional services to complete final engineering for the HSIP-9 Lampasas Ave at Rio Linda Blvd Safety Improvements Project (project). This includes Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) for civil and drainage improvements, and utility relocations. The project is in the City of Sacramento at the intersection of Lampasas Avenue and Rio Linda Boulevard, as exhibited in Attachment A and further detailed in Section II of this document. The purpose of the project is to realign the intersection to provide safer pedestrian crossings, improve sight distance, and clarify turn movements. As required by federal law, Caltrans has established a statewide overall Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal. In order to determine whether that statewide goal is being met, Caltrans is tracking DBE participation on all federal-aid contracts administered by cities, counties and other local agencies.
