Nash County is soliciting qualifications from firms interested in assisting the county by providing Professional Engineering and Surveying Services related to its recently awarded Water and Sewer Asset Inventory & Assessment (AIA) Grants. Nash County operates a water and sewer utility that serves county residents in two existing water and sewer districts (Central Nash and Northern Nash). The County was recently awarded two AIA grants and is awaiting the grant agreements for execution. In the interim, the county is working to identify one or more firms to assist with completion of the proposed scope of work related to these grants. In terms of timing, the project(s) will commence once a firm(s) are selected, a scope of work established, and authorization is received from NCDEQ to begin work. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
