MATERIAL DESCRIPTION AND QUANTITY: 2070 NEMA Traffic Signal Controllers in accordance with ATTACHMENT I in which approved models are listed. Suppliers must submit a request for pre-approval of any equivalent or equal items to the City's representative, as shown on the cover page, prior to the question deadline. All unapproved material substitutions or deviations from the specified items will be rejected as nonresponsive DELIVERY REQUIREMENT: Equipment and materials shall be delivered to the City of Irvine Facilities Maintenance Division located at 6427 Oak Canyon, Irvine, CA 92618, in accordance with delivery schedule included in the Bid Proposal Form. LOCAL VENDOR PREFERENCE: The City of Irvine has adopted a "Local Vendor Preference" ordinance (Municipal Code Section 2-8-111) for the procurement of supplies and equipment, allowing Irvine businesses to receive a 5% price advantage in the evaluation of the total bid price (not to exceed $2,000). Please refer to the Affidavit of Eligibility form, attached hereto, for details, and if your firm qualifies, you must submit the form with your bid or quotation. AWARD OF PURCHASE ORDER: The City reserves the right, after opening bids, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, to make awards in the interest of the City, and to reject all other bids.
