Contractor Category: General Building Construction The work includes: the installation of flood protection equipment at all identified locations, and will include some minor electrical work may be needed to relocate of existing electrical components at the Union Park Pump Station Combined Sewer Overflow Facility at 125 Malden Street, Boston MA. This contract is subject to a N/A MBE and to a N/A WBE participation requirement. A. The Work of this Contract is at the Union Park Pumping Station Combined Sewer Overflow Facility, 125 Malden Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02118. B. Work includes: 1. Installation of flood protection stop plank system at seventeen (17) locations at the Union Park Pumping Station Combined Sewer Overflow Facility: a. Obtain any and all permits required to perform work. b. Relocate any utilities that will affect the installation of the flood protection stop plank system. c. Removal and proper disposal of refusal pertaining to installation of flood protection stop plank system. d. Testing flood protection stop plank system for water tightness for each location. e. Providing a watertight, lockable storage cabinet to house the flood protection top planks. f. Provide an Operation and Maintenance Manual for the flood protection stop plank system. g.
