Scope of Work This Request for Bid is for the purpose of selecting a General Contractor firm to provide build services for the design and permitted drawings of a new Linear Accelerator Vault Addition adjacent to the existing Olympic Medical Cancer Center. The scope of work includes General Contractor services, and construction administration services for a new vault and adjacent admin area of approximately 1,800 square feet. Submitting firms should have a strong background in designing rooms/vaults used for MRI/Linear Accelerator line of services, renovating health care facilities, knowledge of infection control, and working in facilities with special security and safety procedures. A 90% complete set drawings is being shared for review purposes with the published ad. The 100% complete set will be shared with interested bidders for pricing on May 14, 2021. Must have completed 3 prior Linear Accelerator Vault projects, ground up and/or equipment replacement. b. Must have performed similar therapeutic imaging/radiation oncology work in at least 3 jobs for healthcare facilities in the last 5 years. c. Must have performed work on projects of equal size in healthcare facilities work in the last 5 years. d. Must have performed work in fully operational & patient occupied hospitals. e. Must have performed work in operational hospitals replacing or upgrading existing low voltage systems such as Nurse Call Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, and IT systems.
