Ouray County is accepting proposals for the 2021 Ponderosa Road Paving Project. All questions relating to the proposal must be submitted via e-mail to Ouray County by 5:00 pm Monday May 24th. Emailed questions will be accepted at tbarger@ouraycountyco.gov and bfrownfelter@sehinc.com. An addendum with answers, if required, will be available by 5:00 pm on Wednesday May 26, 2021. If an addendum is issued the contractor must acknowledge receipt of any and all addenda on the proposal form in order to submit a qualifying bid. A Bid Bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount for one alternative must accompany each proposal. The bid bond may be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check or letter of credit. The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any and all informalities, or to accept the proposal that best serves the interest of the County, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional proposals. Awarding of the proposal is not based solely upon low quotation price, but on overall service, quality, and "best value" to the County in accordance with the Ouray County Purchasing Manual.
