As of June 3, 2021, the project has been awarded to SDC Engineering for $20,458.96. The City of Victorville is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to repair LMAD1 Block Wall for 13312 Cibola Ct. Contractor is to demo and rebuild approximately 20' section of block wall as originally built due to damage from vehicle impact. All vertical and horizontal steel is to match existing wall. Drill existing footing and install #4 rebar with epoxy and 12" embedment if required. Ok to use existing vertical rebar if it still has structural integrity.Wall is to be completely grouted and capped to match existing. Wall height must match existing. All wall material, type, style, wall cap, mortar, stucco, primer, paint, and color are to match existing. If any changes to these items are preferred or required, a City representative must approve in writing. Building department permit is required and must be paid in full by contractor prior to start of work. Pictures of damaged wall attached for reference. Contractor to provide after photo at same angle as before photo attached. All leftover material and any trash or dust must be removed and the site left broom clean upon completion Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitations, specifications, etc., must request it in writing to the Purchasing Section by no later than 2:00 p.m., MAY 13, 2021 (PST), in order to allow a reply to reach all prospective bidders before the submission of their bids.
