This project consists of: - A new signal mast arm with push button activated flashing warning device - PennDOT Type II School Zone flashing beacon pedestals - Pedestrian flashing signal pedestals with push button activated rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB) - Including all associated signage and pavement markings Clarification Deadline: 5/31/2021 10:00 AM Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. The Contractor who has been successfully awarded the contract shall complete work within sixty (60) days from the Notice to Proceed. The bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies to this contract and that the successful bidder shall pay no less than the wage rates determined for the project area as set forth in the contract documents. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any informality in the bidding, as they deem in the best interest of the Township.
