Precast Modular Detention Cells - Bid Package 02 (BP-02) includes fabrication and erection of the precast modular detention cells, including associated detention equipment and furnishings within the cell modules. Detention Equipment and Furnishings - Bid Package 03 (BP-03) includes the supply and installation of the remaining Detention Equipment and Furnishings in the Facility. The Detention Equipment and Furnishings includes but may not be limited to the following, security hollow metal doors and frames, security glazing, detention door hardware, cell padding. The work in these packages BP-02 and BP-03 will require coordination and cooperation with the Prime Contractors for the General Building Bid Packages that will be bid separately. A cashier's check or Bid Bond payable to the St. Clair County Commission, in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the proposal, but in no event more than $10,000.00 must accompany the bid. Performance and Statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price will be required at the signing of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all the proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interest of the Owner will thereby be promoted. : The work under the bid packages above will be coordinated with the overall construction schedule by the Construction Manager. It is anticipated that work under these packages will commence in the 4th quarter of 2021, or the first quarter of 2022.
