As of October 17, 2022, an architect has been selected and construction began in July 2022. Expected completion November 2022. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Board of the Crook County School District requests proposals from experienced Architectural Firms to assist in the planning and design of a New Classroom Building on the campus of the Crook County High School in Prineville, Oregon. It is the intent of the district to enter a contract with the selected firm to provide the necessary planning and design services including all required engineering services. The contract will include a fixed fee for the entire scope of the work. Firms responding to this request will be evaluated based upon their qualifications, prior experience, proposed schedule, a plan for completing work, associated fees, and other relevant factors. The primary focus will be to add additional classrooms on the High School campus. The district may interview one or more of the top finalists. All proposers must be licensed to practice architecture within the State of Oregon. Failure to be licensed will be sufficient cause to reject proposals as non-responsive. This solicitation does not obligate Crook County School District to pay any costs incurred in preparation or presentations, or to select any proposer who responds.
