As of November 10, 2021 construction is underway *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The State Lab is a 130,000 SF building constructed in the early 1990s containing laboratory and office space for state agencies. This project will focus on providing improvements to areas utilized by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The approximate scope will include a 19,800 SF two story addition at the south end of the building, a 700 SF addition at the north end, 5,300 SF of renovated space within the existing building, and the associated infrastructure and site improvements Multiple bid packages are anticipated to be needed. The laboratory is to remain fully operational during construction. Federal funding will be used for this project. Federal provisions, including Davis Bacon, will be required. The CM will be to ensure compliance and documentation for all federal provisions for all staff and suppliers under the CM contract. All funding is to be expended by June 30, 2023. The final budget has not yet fully been determined.
