Public Utility District No. 1 of Douglas County, Washington, is inviting sealed bids as specified in Bid Document No. 21-33-D-BID. When Assembling The Bid, The Documents Shall Be Organized In The Following Order: Bid Bond (or Cashier Check) Acknow ledgement of Addenda (If Applicable) Total for Bid Comparison The work on this project shall be accomplished in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction, 2021 edition, as issued by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and the American Public Works Association (APWA), Washington State Chapter (hereafter “Standard Specifications”). The Standard Specifications, as modified or supplemented by these Special Provisions, all of which are made a part of the Contract Documents, shall govern all of the Work. A site inspection/pre-bid conference isscheduled to occur at 10:00 a.m. at East Wenatchee on June 17, 2021. No alternative arrangements will be made. All who wish to submit a bid are strongly encouraged to attend. A bidder’sfailure to attend the recommended site inspection/pre-bid conference shall not relieve it from full responsibility for the entire scope of the Work, including but not limited to, any difficulty, cost, or expense involved in performing all theWork. Failure of a bidder to attend shall entitle, but not obligate, the District to consider that bidder’s bid nonresponsive and reject that bidder’s bid
