GENERAL DESCRIPTION for Lewisburg, Northeast Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project: Clean and televise the north primary collection sanitary main from the junction point at the wastewater treatment plant to Cumberland Street (U.S. Route 40). Perform point repairs where needed and reline the existing sewer, approximately 2,701 feet in length. The Village of Lewisburg reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting is recommended, however is not mandatory. The proposal must be made on the forms provided therefore in the contract documents, or a copy thereof, with a price quoted for the work. This is an Ohio Public Works Commission project and funding for it comes from both the Ohio Public Works Commission and Village of Lewisburg. Therefore, payment to the contractor for contract work on this project will be reimbursed according to the payment procedures for each funding source. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor's compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Preble County and Village of Lewisburg, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Labor and Worker Safety Wage and Hour Bureau, (614) 644-2239. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof
