Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Wenonah, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The scope of work will include but is not limited to, the rehabilitation of the Borough of Wenonah 250,000 Gallon Water Tank. The work includes the rehabilitation of the water tank exterior, dry interior and wet interior surfaces, foundation repairs, installation of a tank mixing system, installation of a new frost proof vent on the tank roof, installation of a larger yoke and bolt manway and the installation of a new flapper valve and screen. The contractor shall also provide temporary hyrdopneumatic tanks and accessories for the duration of the project along with providing electrical service to the temporary hydropneumatics tanks. All necessary excavation, disposal of removed material in accordance with regulatory requirements, specified backfill, surface restorations, and all materials incidental to complete the necessary replacements shall be included. The Contractor will abide by conditions and requirements for the scope of work and all coordination with property owners before and after construction activities. The Contractor shall be responsible to complete this work in accordance with all regulations set forth by the Authority having jurisdiction of the applicable Rights-Of-Way. Complementary work to furnish and install accessory materials as may be necessary may be if and where directed items by the Owner. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this project as described in the Construction Documents. The Contract will allow 120 calendar days for completion of the work from the issuance of the notice to proceed. CONSENT OF SURETY: Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION: Bidders are required is to submit a certificate from the New Jersey Department of Labor establishing that the bidder is registered pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (P.L. 1999, c.238). Bidders are also required to submit current proof of Business Registration and current proof of Business Registration for all named Subcontractors in accordance with P.L. 2004 c.57, as amended. STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS: Bidders are required to comply with applicable statutory requirements set forth in the Contract Documents including the New Jersey Public Contracts Law, NJSA 40A:11-1, the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127(NJAC 17:27) (Affirmative Action) and of P.L. 1963, c. 150 (Prevailing Wage) and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12101, et seq.). The Bidder is further notified that he must comply with P.L. 1977,c.33, and submit a Disclosure Statement listing stockholders with his bid. The Borough of Wenonah reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt and further reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, as permitted by law. The Borough of Wenonah also reserves the right to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of Borough of Wenonah and fairness of the bidding process. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Contract Documents. AWARD OF CONTRACT: The Award of Contract shall be made subject to the necessary monies to perform the work being provided by the Borough of Wenonah in a lawful manner. The Contract to be executed by the successful bidder will provide that it shall not become effective until the necessary monies to perform the work have been provided by the Borough of Wenonah in a lawful manner. The Award shall further be subject to the securing of the necessary State, Federal, and Local Permits governing the work.
