Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to make improvements to the Kietzke and Morrill PCE treatment plants. RANGE FOR ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $193,500 - $236,500 A pre-bid conference and site visit will NOT be held. ANTICIPATED START DATE: On or Before July 27, 2021 COMPLETION DEADLINE: October 19, 2021 Bid results and the bid tabulation will be posted on NGEM and bidders will be notified electronically of the results. TMWA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and to reject the bid of any bidder if TMWA believes that it would not be in the best interest of TMWA to make an award to that bidder. The work to be done under this Contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials (except those specifically specified to be supplied by TMWA), equipment, and incidentals required for construction of the pump to waste piping improvements and associated site and well house work. The major items of work are: 1. Modification to Kietzke Well Pump to Waste discharge piping, catch basin modifications, and installation of a duckbill check valve. 2. Removal and replacement of flexible duct connector at connection between air handler duct and Kietzke Packed Tower Aerator. 3. Modification of Morrill Sodium Hypochlorite Room to increase chlorine storage and improve injection locations. 4. Removal and replacement of existing tower drain valves and vault improvements at Morrill Well Site. 5. Site restoration including aggregate base re-surfacing.
