Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the improvements to two existing welded steel potable water tanks in the TMWA distribution system--Desert Springs 2A is a 0.8-million-gallon tank, and Pyramid 1 is a 4.0-million-gallon tank. Work will require selective demolition; steel fabrication; modifications to meet NAC requirements; blasting and coating; and telemetry work.
