Renovation of an educational facility in Reno, Nevada. Working plans call for the renovation of a 38,010-square-foot educational facility.
**As of November 20th, 2023, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid.** Description of Work: This is a prevailing wage project. The project consists of removal of the existing roof system down to the existing concrete deck / metal deck and replacing it with a new roof system. Additional work to include replacing the parapets caps, gutters and downspouts, man door modifications / replacement and the installation of new fall protection system. The scope of work also includes one alternate: Alternate # 1 shall consist of a interior parapet guardrail system at "Roof A" and "Roof B" as shown on sheet A203 of the drawings. Contractor shall substitute the Fall Protection System at "Roof A" and "Roof B" from the Base Bid shown on sheet A203 of the drawings to create Alternate number 1. Labor Commissioner #: WA-2024-057 SPWD Project # 23-B063 Estimated Cost Range: $1,335,000 to $1,535,000 Liquidated Damages: $500/day *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
