Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

Work of this contract consists of (1) salt shed with (3) structural options: Salt Shed Structural Options: 1: A timber framed structure with integrated concrete or timber/concrete push walls at perimeter of building. 2: A fabric covered pre-engineered metal building or hoop type structure supported on 12 foot high concrete push walls at the building perimeter. 3: A fabric covered pre-engineered metal building or hoop type structure with frames supported on concrete piers with spread footings at frost depth. Retention of sand and salt within the building will be with precast concrete bunker panels. A single lump sum bid will be required for all of the work for each Structural Option including all associated items indicated in the drawings and specifications to provide a complete and functional salt storage building Bidder may provide bids on any or all of the options listed. Bids do not need to be provided for all of the options. Each bid shall be accompanied by the Bidder's Bond , which shall be forfeited to La Crosse County in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a Contract. La Crosse County reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three (3) lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. Digital image copies of the Bidding Documents are available for a fee of $30. Bidders may be requested to submit "Contractor's Qualification Statement." La Crosse County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
