Site work and paving for a civil project in Crafton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Pennsylvania Prevailing wage rates will be required to be paid on this contract. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified as a prime contractor and meet the work classification codes of E, F, F1, F2, and F3. All bids submitted must have the contractor's valid pre-qualification certification attached to bid or it will be rejected. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Crafton Borough, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in an amount equal to ten (10) percent of the total amount of the Proposal. Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) days beyond the time of bid opening. Crafton Borough reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any or all Proposals. Requests for clarification are due Friday, July 9, 2021 4:30:00 PM The project includes the reconstruction of Alley B, including, but not limited to, the removal of the existing road, bituminous paving and subbase and replacement with aggregate subbase and bituminous pavement; installation of bituminous wedge curb; replacement of a storm sewer inlet; replacement of storm sewer pipe; and miscellaneous site restoration, complete in place.
