Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rockford, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of July 8 the project is set to be awarded on August 10 Board Meeting . The Rockford Park District is seeking qualified contractors to install drainage, a concrete drive and brick pavers at the Nicholas Conservatory located at 1354 N. Second Street, Rockford, IL. Bid Bond None NOTE: ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/RESPONDENTS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE ROCKFORD PARK DISTRICT STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON. The Rockford Park District reserves the unrestricted right to reject any or all bids/proposals received, to waive or not to waive any informality, or to accept the bid/proposal considered to be in the best interest of the Park District. The purpose of this project is to repair rutting that has occurred in the service drive located at the south east corner of the conservatory building complex. Concentrated loading from a single unit packer truck is the source of the damage. Packer trucks service the refuse and loading dock at least twice a week. Larger loads from loaded semi-tractor trailers service the conservatory at least two times per year Requests for Information (RFI’s) are to be submitted in writing to debbiebrooks@rockfordparkdistrict.org by Thursday, July 1, 2021 by 12:00 p.m.
