The work, in general, will include the following schedule of work: The two existing anaerobic sludge digesters are to be upgraded with the installation of two centrifugal chopper type pumps, one for each digester, along with the required piping, electrical and control for operation. The work also includes the removal of the existing compressed gas digester mixing system and related piping which was installed in 1992. The HVAC system for the building between the two digesters will also be upgraded with new equipment. The two existing sludge recirculation centrifugal pumps used in conjunction with the digester heat exchanger will also be replaced with new pumps of the same type and size. Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the date of opening. The City of Sparta reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive any informalities therein. To demonstrate Bidder's qualifications to perform the Work, after submitting its Bid and within three days of Owner's request, Bidder shall submit (a) written evidence establishing its qualifications such as financial data, previous experience, and present commitments, and (b) the following additional information: A. Evidence of Bidder's authority to do business in the state here the Project is located. B. Bidder's state or other contractor license number, if applicable. C. Subcontractor and Supplier qualification information; coordinate with provisions of Article 12 of these Instructions, Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Others."
