Pre-Bid Conference has been cancelled The original solicitation is included below: The Mitchell School District is issuing a request for bids for architectural/design services and/or construction management for the possible construction of a new Mitchell High School Building on the campus of the current Mitchell High School, including surrounding, contiguous properties owned by MSD. To include a letter of interest, resume of experience, description of expertise, fee structures, references, and description of past projects similar to the one described here, which shall constitute the bid, along with any other information they wish to include to: Office of the Business Manager, Mitchell School District, 821 N. Capital, Mitchell, SD 57301. Parties may bid for architectural design services or construction management or both. Procedures the MSD will observe in the Solicitation of Architectural/Design Services and/or Construction Management: 1. The procedures and standards to be used to qualify architects and/or construction managers will be based on experience, services provided, costs, and other information pertinent to the Mitchell High School Construction Project. 2.The procedure for preparing and submitting a bid is a written proposal submitted in a timely fashion to the MSD Business Manager for consideration either in person or by mail or other physical delivery system. The Mitchell High School Building Committee may elect to hold follow-up interviews on dates subsequent to the bid submission deadline. 3.The procedure for evaluating proposals will be established using a weighted system for various criteria that will be established per specific project. Items such as experience, services to be provided, costs, references, etc. will be utilized. 4.Confidentiality: All proposals will be submitted in sealed envelopes and will not be opened prior to the planned bid opening date.
