As of July 21, 2021, an apparent low bidder has been identified but not confirmed pending bid tabulation received. This project will rehabilitate the Upper Admin Parking Lot adjacent to the South Arch of the Administration Building on the Marin Civic Center campus, including ten new accessible curb ramps; new sidewalks; new concrete curb wheel stops; two new accessible parking spaces; drainage improvements; a two-inch thick asphalt overlay with pavement fabric and new parking lot striping The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" License at time of bid submittal. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal. Award of contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with prescribed requirements, and will be within thirty (30) days after receipt of proposals. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Marin reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to waive any irregularities. The provisions of California Public Contract Code 22300, regarding substitution of securities for monies withheld to ensure performance shall apply to this contract. This project is to be advertised pursuant to Public Contract Code 22037. There is no pre-bid meeting for this project.
