**As of August 18, 2021 This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work includes, but is not limited to, CIPP lining of sewers. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Bid. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids for a period of 30 days after the actual date of the opening of the Bids. The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders. The Contract Time shall commence 20 days following the Effective Date of the Agreement and the Contractor shall fully complete the Work within 70 Calendar Days and in accordance with the terms as stated in the Agreement. Active construction shall be limited to 30 Calendar Days. Wage rates for this Project are subject to the minimum wage rates as per State of Connecticut Labor Department "Prevailing Wage Rates" and Federal Davis-Bacon Act. Bidders and subcontractors are required to ensure equal opportunity employment as noted in the Governor's Executive Orders 3 and 17. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Sewer line cleaning, including sewer dewatering, bypass pumping, preparatory cleaning, transport and disposal of debris removed (City will not provide location to dispose of debris), and post-cleaning inspection, 2. Pre- and Post-lining Closed Circuit Television Inspection (CCTV). 3. Pipeline preparation, including cleaning. 4. Cured-in-place pipe liner installation. 5. Reinstatement and sealing of lateral connections along the section of sewer being rehabilitated. 6. Restoration. 7. Traffic Control and pedestrian access. 8. All other incidental work to complete that project as specified herein and as shown in the drawings. 9.
