Renovation of a fire / police facility in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
This project has been awarded to Christensen Inc. in the amount of $524,900. For County-City Building Sheriffs Lobby Tenant Improvement The Project includes Tenant improvement (TI) of approximately 3,000 sf within first floor of CCB, Sheriff's Department. TI falls under Level 2 Alterations, per IEBC, Section 602. Work includes modifications to the existing reception area, Civil Unit Vestibule, and Photo Processing Room. New level 3 ballistic transactions counters and doors at Reception and Civil Service Unit. New light fixtures in reconfigured spaces, existing electrical and mechanical work includes relocating existing systems. All new work to tie into existing infrastructure. No exterior or site work. TI will not impact existing egress or fixture counts.
