Renovation of a fire / police facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,630-square-foot fire / police facility.
The City of Raleigh Engineering Services Department requests proposals for the roof replacement of Fire Station 1 at 220 South Dawson Street and Fire Station 9 at 4465 Six Forks Road. The scope of work associated with the work at Fire Station 1 includes removal of the existing adhered insulation and single-ply membrane roofing system and replacement with new insulation and single-ply membrane roofing system. The approximate total square footage is 5,830. The scope of work associated with the work at Fire Station 9 includes removal of the existing mechanically attached insulation and fully adhered single-ply roofing system. The approximate total square footage is 6,800. It is the intent of the City of Raleigh to award this project as a single prime project. Note that all bidders must wear a face covering (mask) and agree to a temperature check before being allowed to participate in the Pre-Bid and Bid Opening.
