Site work for a civil project in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
cThe Project consists generally of the following major items: Installation of one manhole drainage structure, one headwall, and 20-linear feet of 60" reinforced concrete pipe. Site restoration of approximately 800-square yards, including grading, seeding, fencing, resetting landscape and hardscape features, installation of erosion control fabric and coir blankets. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing only. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer, in response to such questions, will be issued by Addenda to all plan holders registered with the Issuing Office. Questions received less than 7 working days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Engineer's email address is lgill@hazenandsawyer.com Furthermore, the City's goal is to contract or sub-contract fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount to certified MWBEs on construction projects over $300,000, or with contracts that include $100,000 or more in state funding.
